Webinar Description

ED OESE staff (Todd Stephenson, Elizabeth Witt, and Victoria Rosenboom) who work on program allocations, presented the Annual Count webinar to support State educational agencies (SEAs) in conducting the annual count and build an understanding of the connection between the annual count and funds for services to at-risk children provided under Title I-A and Title I-D of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA). During this session, ED provided an overview of the purpose of the annual count; information about specifics for both the State-level and local counts, including several frequently asked questions; and information about the Department of Education’s process for collecting and verifying annual count data.
