The National Association of ESEA State Program Administrators (NAESPA) is a membership organization made up of State ESEA Program Administrators and their staff from each of the states and territories charged with managing their state federal education program. They ensure compliance with federal regulations, but more importantly they work to see that all children — especially those living in economically disadvantaged conditions — have the opportunity to receive a high quality education. Each year, through the ESEA Network, they host an annual conference. The National ESEA Conference is intentionally aimed at coordination among federal education programs under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) and other federal programs. This year, NDTAC traveled to Portland, OR to present with the Department on “Creating Successful Transitions for Students Served Under Title I, Part D-Subpart 1&2”. You can find a copy of our presentation HERE.
